The ACÁ Eco Training Center
The Center in Jaltepec is a fully operational organic farm focused on educating students in eco-safe organic farming, conservation methods, community garden development, and modern marketing techniques. ACÁ provides on-site training for students, schools, international students, ecological groups and the Mexican farming community. The Eco-Training Center is operated by former graduates of the program, and create vital employment through the development of safe agro-based micro-economies throughout Jalisco. One third of our operating revenue comes from the sale of produce grown at the Eco Training Center, marketed as Great Greens.
Gg's Organic Market
Located in Jaltepec at the Eco Training Center, the market sells Great Greens, other local organically grown produce; potted, fresh and dried herbs; products from local producers; as well as gardening supplies and plants. The market also houses a botanical library and can provide information on efficient, safe, garden management.
ACA works with Jalisco area growers to meet the increasing demand for organic produce. The demand for Great Greens is far ahead of our current ability to produce, so the future growth of self generating operating revenue is assured.
